TRB140 Read ADC Value error

I have the same issue as described here:

I am trying to read ADC value from TRB140 with the following command:
gsmctl -A at+qadc=0
which returns an error instead of an integer value.

The same command works perfectly on RUT240.
As far as I am aware TRB140 and RUT240 are using the same modem (Quectel EC25), so this seems strange. Could the devs perhaps take a look at this?

I am using fw. TRB1_R_00.07.07.1
