I am operating a number of TRB140 units abroad, where the data roaming charges are high.
At some point earlier in 2023 the data usage climbed to the sky without any known reason.
I therefore set a limit to mobile data usage per day to 200 MB. I have set an SMS warning limit at 150 MB.
This, in combination with some attack prevention measures seems to have worked fine.
However, now I wonder why the modems internal counters tells me, that the mobil usage on Jan, 12 2024 has been more than 350 MB (send) and more than 350 MB (read)? I didn’t receive any warning SMS when the 150 MB limit was exceeded and obviously the data consumption didn’t stop at 200 MB.
