TRB140 general issue after sw update

Hello,

I’m using a TRB140 as an access point for vending machines since 2019 without any issues. We recently decided to add some security cameras to the vending machines for telemetry purposes and integrate them into our camera VPN to enable remote monitoring.

I also decided to update the firmware from the legacy TRB140X_R_00.01.06.1 version, and the initial upgrade went smoothly. Unfortunately, after updating to the latest version TRB1_R_00.07.13.1_WEBUI, all functionalities stopped working, including OpenVPN, which I intended to use. Even performing a factory reset results in an error. Btw internet connection is fine.

What can I try to resolve this issue?

Good afternoon,

If you are unable to make the device work after a regular reset, the issue may be related with flash memory. I would advise to get in touch with wherever you purchased the item, for an RMA process.
