i noticed issues with EE sims on older firmware’s where the EE sim would suddenly not be recognised switching over to EE and also when taking out another service provider sim card and putting EE sim in it would not be recognised.
Then Teltonika I.T group provided a command on this forum about a year ago to fix this which was:
gsmctl -A ‘AT+QNWPREFCFG=“nr5g_disable_mode”,1’ && gsmctl -A at+cfun=1,1
i had the same issue with EE sim card recently using Firmware 7.14.2. i used the command above and the EE sim became recognised.
Will this issue ever be fixed so we don’t need to see commands in CLI?
The issue was related not to the RutOS firmware but to the internal modem firmware provided by the module manufacturer. It should already be resolved in the latest firmware versions.
Could you please navigate to System → Firmware → Update Firmware in the WebUI and let me know the internal modem firmware version currently installed on your device?
