we use the RUT955 to connect our EdgeProcessingUnits to the internet. We now have a customer in turkye where we are not able to establish a connection to the internet.
thanks for the answer but can you confirm that those modems are notified by the Turkish government? We have tested the RUT955 V with a working SIM card (Tested with Laptop and mobile phone) but it has not worked. When we checked the government webservice, we could not found any registration information which malkes us believe it is not registered and therefore blocked in Turkiye.
Could you please provide a little bit more information. Registration details, certificates for Turkiye or any other official documentation? It is quite important for us because otherwise we do not have a working device in Turkiye.
The RUT955 is equipped with a Quectel EG25-G modem. If you’re interested in the device’s certifications and approvals, you can find comprehensive information on our wiki pages dedicated to RUT955 Certification & Approvals and Certificates.
For a detailed overview of the product variants and the supported bands, you can visit our website’s RUT955 product page. There, under the ‘Ordering’ section, you’ll find valuable information about product codes and the bands they can utilize. You can cross-reference these bands with the networks listed on Wikipedia for Turkey here.
If you have any further inquiries or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Hi, thanks for the reply. Can you explain this a little bit more in detail? How does this process work in Turkiye? Has every single modem to be registered?
thank you for the reply. So from a technical point of view the modems you mentioned should work in Turkiye. Do all of the modems have the same IMEI (same Quectel chip inside)?
