We have a Teltonika RUT241 which has previously been connected to our RMS management account. With regards to the account we have a management pack.

Following a Factory reset we are unable to reconnect the router to our account. We have triple checked the serial number, mac address and password which all seem good. We also have a solid internet connection with 20mb download. When connecting to the router locally on site i can see that the RMS hostname is default as - but lower down on the page connection state is - failure ( network is unreachable ). We have also checked that RMS is enabled on the router and toggled this with no joy.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Taylor,

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot your router’s connection to the RMS platform:

  1. Navigate to your router’s WebUI by going to Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS.
  2. There, you will find a button labeled “Connect.” Please click it and observe the result.

If this does not resolve the issue, try unregistering the device and then registering it again in RMS. Do not forget to add the device back to the company, where the pack is active. Please note that you will not lose any credits or packs allocated to the device.

If the issue persists, could you please check the status in the RMS platform? Do you see it as Offline, Online, Standby, or is there an error message? If this does not resolve the issue, please let me know, and I will contact you privately to gather some additional information.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

In case this helps anyone else i thought id share the fix.

In WAN settings i selected IPV4 only ( using EE sim ) all systems then functioned correctly.
