Please avoid sharing sensitive device information such as the serial number, MAC address, and IMEI on public forums, as it may pose a security risk.
Regarding your issue, please follow these steps to place the router into bootloader menu mode:
Unplug all cables from the router.
Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the router’s LAN port.
Press and hold the reset button.
While holding the reset button, plug in the power cable and continue holding the button for another 4 seconds.
Release the reset button.
If done correctly, all panel LEDs should light up, indicating the device is in bootloader mode. If this does not happen, please repeat the steps.
The router’s IP address in bootloader mode is always 192.168.1.1, regardless of its previous configuration. To access it, you need to set a static IP address on your computer within the 192.168.1.0/24 network (e.g., 192.168.1.2). You can find setup instructions here:
Once your computer’s IP is set, open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1/index.html. Upload the firmware image and click the Update button. You can download the firmware from here: RUT240 Firmware Downloads.
The update process will take approximately 120 seconds. After completion, don’t forget to restore your computer’s IP settings.
