Teltonika firmware 7.13 onwards - p2p server not working

Hi Teltonika,

P2P cameras (using dahua p2p server) works fine on 7.12 firmware of rut241.

as soon as any upgrades are done - i.e. to 7.13.4 up to latest 7.15… cameras offline.

Is there a setting you have implemented to affect this? how to I fix to allow p2p to function as per previous.

Kind regards,

Nick

Hello,

Could you elaborate more on your configuration? How are you accessing the cameras? How are they connected? Do you have port forwards/traffic rules set up to access them?

Any screenshots would be helpful, although make sure to blur out any sensitive information.

Hi @Matas, accessing the cameras through dahua dmss free app based software.

connected via poe switch connected to the RUT.

I have a few dozen ruts. the ONLY ones that have had these issues are the RUT241’s

older RUT360’s have updated to firmware as it has become available, and no issues.

RUT241’s - blocked the (presumably ports or otherwise).

Could you please advise?

Thanks for clarifying. Do you have any port forward rules or traffic rules set up on your RUT241s? Any configurations related to the cameras at all?

Regards,
M.

Hi,

No one at all and i never have had to.

I have rut 360’s and some of the earlier 241s that have no issues (even with firmware upgrades).

all the new 241’s purchased in the last 6 months have this issue. this has also now occurred with a RUT206 that i have as a trial.

i am guessing you have closed of ports or added a security feature??

I hope you can fix this.

Hi @Matas,

I believe I have resolved the issue. turning off “auto apn” has solved the issue and allowed RMS to connect.

This is been a significant issue and for the past 5-6 weeks. It has been extremely costly in time and money. It is unfortunate this was not picked up and identified during firmware updates.

Kind regards,

Nick

Hi, Nick,

Apologies for the inconvenience. Could you monitor the functionalities of the device over the next few days and keep me updated on whether it works completely fine, as expected? If not, please just reply to my message and I’ll create a form for you so I could investigate this further.

M.
