Hi.
I have a TAP200 running firmware R_00.07.07.3 without any problems.
I tried upgrading it last month to a newer release R_00.07.08.? (I don’t remember which and there is nothing in the logs since I had to do a reset).
The firmware caused connected clients to not reach internet so tried a reset and reconfigured, but it did not help, so I downgraded to R_00.07.07.3 and did a reconfigure again to get it working.
Yesterday I saw that there are some new firmware releases so I installed R_00.07.09.1 , but it caused the same problem.
When I look at the traffic logs in the firewall (Palo-Alto) I see that the traffic comes in on the wrong vlan interface after the upgrade. The correct vlan id before the upgrade was id 3 used by my guest ssid and after the upgrade the vlan id is 9 which is the vlan used for management, so the TAP200 starts to send the traffic on it’s management vlan instead of the vlan used by the SSID.
The first time I upgraded the firmware and saw the problem I had the TAP200 management as untagged and tagged ssid traffic came in on the untagged interface in the firewall. Then I changed TAP200 management to tagged vlan 9, but saw that it was the same problem, tagged traffic changed to the management interface.
Can anyone confirm the same problem with newer firmware than R_00.07.07.3?
Hi nax,
Welcome to Teltonika Networks Community!
Can you try to manually set the VLAN ID of the SSID to 3? Then in IP settings, change Management VLAN to 9.
Let me know if this helps.
