TAP200 multiple SSIDs

Hey,

I’m trying to run two SSIDs from a TAP200, company_wifi & company_guest.
Running booth on 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz does not seem to work, I can see either of them on my phone.

Does any body have experience with setting up a guest wifi on a TAP200?
Is this possible with the TAP200?

Hello,

I’ve tested creating separate Company’s and Guest SSIDs on the TAP200 can confirm that it should work as expected. On a freshly factory-reset device, you should be able to create the desired SSIDs without any issues and see them on your phone when scanning for available networks. To better understand the issue, could you provide screenshots of the TAP200’s IP Settings and Wireless Configuration pages?

Regarding Guest WiFi on the TAP200, it is indeed possible to configure. However, this setup requires additional configurations on router, including:

  • Two VLANs
  • Firewall and Traffic Rules on the router
  • Specific configurations on the TAP200 (IP Settings and Wireless Settings)

Is there an upto date guide on how to configure it this way?

I found this guide How to set up a guest WiFi network - Teltonika Networks Wiki
but it does not configure VLANs

I’ve got it working
Just have to follow How to set up a guest WiFi network - Teltonika Networks Wiki and VLAN Set Up - Teltonika Networks Wiki and set the vlan on the TAP200 router.
