Teltonika wiki says that Tailscale should be available on TRB1 series devices:

However on TRB160 (fw TRB16_R_00.07.11.3) there is no Tailscale package in the package manager. Why is that? Can Tailscale be installed on that device?

The Tailscale package is not available for the TRB160 due to hardware limitations. While TRB1 devices like the TRB140, TRB141, TRB142, TRB143, and TRB145 have significantly higher flash memory storage compared with TRB160. This difference is the main reason Tailscale is not supported on the TRB160.

Thank you for the quick response. So the paragraph “The Tailscale VPN package is compatible exclusively with TRB1, TRB5, RUTX and RUTM series devices.” is not quite true.
Is there a list of devices that definitely support Tailscale? I don’t want to hit another surprise.

To clarify, only the TRB14 (often collectively referred to as the TRB1 series), TRB5, RUTX, and RUTM series support Tailscale.
Additionally, the configuration example paragraph on the wiki has now been corrected to avoid further confusion.
