Tailscale on RUTX11 using most of RAM

Hi, I am setting up my RUTX11, haven’t done much yet, but it runs out of memory just sitting still. No clients, just Tailscale. Have I done something wrong? Memory eventually peaks at 98+ % before it gets unresponsive.

After a bunch of speed test runs it peaks at 54.1 % Mem

All testing is done wired, and the results are abysmal: Down 25.76, Up 30.42 Mbps

My computer on the same switch gets Down 500.92, Up 492.61 Mbps, with Tailscale on the same exit node.

Hello,

Tailscale package, in comparison to others, demands a large amount of flash space and overall resources from your device, and it may end up “hogging” most of them.

  1. What firmware version are you currently running? If not the latest, could you please try to upgrade & re-install the Tailscale package accordingly to your firmware version?

  2. Do you have any other packages installed on the device, other than Tailscale?
