Starlink wont connect to RUT240 WAN port

I have a starlink which I am tryying to connect through WAN port on RUT 240.

The wan port does not recognise the connection.

The starlink connects to WAN ports on multiuple devices such as other routers and on a laptop so the issue does not lie with the starlink.

The RUT240 is on the latest firmware RUT2_R_00.07.06.18 and I have performed factory reset multiple times.

Greetings,

Does connecting a different device to the WAN port of the RUT240 work as intended? More so, when connecting the Starlink, if you go to the RUT240 WebUI → Network → Ports section, are you able to see whether the interface shows that anything is connected?

Additionally, when connecting the Starlink to the WAN port, do any LEDs light up on the RUT240 WAN port itself?

Regards,
M.

So inorder of question

No it dosnt seem to recognise any other connectios

Yes it shows as disconected in the UI and

No there is no a led when you plug in the starlink or other devices

Ive looke throu the UI and there seems to be no way of turning the port off equally if it is set as a 2nd LAN it does nbot connect to my laptop

Hi there,

Sounds like a faulty port to me, but before we jump to conclusions, kindly try the Bootloader menu to see if the issue persists: Bootloader menu - Teltonika Networks Wiki

If the issue persists even after doing the process above, I’d strongly suggest reaching out to your distributor from whom you’ve bought the device and ask for a replacement/repair.
