Split Tunneling issues

Hello:

We are using RUT-950 and 951s. The RUT-950s in question are running quite old FW 6.08.6 and due to logistics we’d prefer to delay upgrading. They are in general working fine so we have no obvious outstanding dysfunction we’re trying to fix so are maintaining them as is.
Problem:
We have configured GRE over IPSec to A Cisco router and this is working fine. The only issue we have is that when the system runs over the wired WAN link(fibre into Eth0) we lose spit tunneling to the Internet. Specifically, the device behind the TTNK loses contact with a public ftp server. If we turn off the wired link and run it on GPRS(LTE) the spit tunneling works fine.

I have copied the FW settings from another unit that has the same FW and its “appears” to be working except that its on LTE rather than wired.

I have check the FW rules and they appear to be fine. Can someone drop me a hint as to where I might look to solve this?

Cheers,
John

Update:

Have upgraded the FW to 7.06.18 and the same issue persists.

Cheers,
John
