Speed test on Wan Rut 200

Hello everyone,

Can you tell me if it’s possible to do a speed test on the Wan port of a RUT 200. I can’t do it when the connection is on the Wan port.

Hello,

It is possible to perform a speed test on the WAN port of the RUT200. The easiest way to do this via the WebUI is by installing the SpeedTest package from System → Package Manager. Once the package is installed, navigate to System → Maintenance → Speed Test and press Start Test to begin the speed test.

Alternatively, you can also perform the speed test by connecting to the router’s CLI and executing the following command speedtest.

Keep in mind that in order to perform the speed test on the wired WAN interface, you’ll need to set it to Metric 1 in Network → WAN if it’s not already configured.
