I use the failover feature to connect to internet via (#1) a WiFi network when available or (#2) otherwise a SIM-card (4G/5G KPN NL) as failover. But it would be nice to also be able to connect via WiFi to a Smartphone setup as hotspot.
Connecting to my home WiFi works fine, same with (some, not all) campsites offering WiFi internet access.
I tried this setup with a iPhone/hotspot as one of the WiFi networks and it did connect but failed to access internet. I can’t think of any reason why this is different than any WiFi connection to internet in failover setup.
