HI, I contacted telephone support this morning for Remote VPN access to my site router using https://www.noip.com/. I have a permeant broadband connection to my site router with NO public IP, this works consistently with https://www.noip.com/ when I route through my broadband provider.
I have set up port forwarding as I have with my landline broadband provider.
I can not see any logs in the Rutx50 detailing my VPN connection attempt and that is true so the site router as well, so it would appear Rutx50 is not allowing the vpn connection.
I have Rutx50 connected to my failover WAN port on the site router which provides working broadband when I take my main wan down. So no connectivity issues with RUTx50.
Its just the remote VPN access pass through I can not trouble shoot since there is no error logs or information I can see.
Please let me know any suggestions you may have. Thanks.Simon.

You are using the VPN solution provided by No-IP to connect to the site equipment
The RUTX50 is connected to the internet through a broadband hardline connection
The VPN currently does not function / access is not being granted
I have seen in the past that no-ip traffic specifically blocked at certain levels of a firewall. If you have a PC connected to the RUTX50 here, can you reach noip.com ?
From the router CLI, can you ping out to noip.com ?
Hi the no-ip service works in all cases when not using teltonika. The site is now remote and we require VPN access to carry out the tests. That is ok but in this use case If I drop the landline broadband we can no longer use the Tutx50 since we cant remote onto the local router for access to the site lan.
Are their firewall settings OTHER than port forwarding that need to be sdministrated to the rutx50…?
As we have not yet received confirmation regarding a remote session, could you please let us know a convenient date and time when you would be available? We would like to arrange a remote session to assist you in resolving the issue.
If you have any preferred time slots, please include them in your email reply so we can schedule the session accordingly.
