Hi , I wanna know if in order to activate the sim lock I need to know the pin of the sim 1st. It’s my first time activating this option, I don’t wanna mess it up.

Correct PIN code is required to enable or disable SIM card lock. Once SIM card lock is disabled you will not need to enter PIN code on any device to use SIM card.

If I understand correctly, you would like to lock either SIM1 or SIM2 on your device (if it has two SIM slots). To do this, you can set the desired SIM as the default and then lock it under Network → Mobile → Utilities in the WebUI.

Sorry I’ll give you more details. It’s a RUT200, I want to make sure if someone puts another sim on it, that this one doesn’t work, because it’s just supposed to use the one that I set… is there any way to achieve that? , maybe entering the pin - puk.
