Setup RUT241 with static ip and Gateway

Hello all,

Can someone explain how we can set up a device with a static IP and gateway?
I am unable to find any option to set the gateway under Network and LAN settings.
After configuring it in the Routing section with 0.0.0.0 as the target and the correct gateway, it still does not work.

Are there any step-by-step instructions available on how to set it up?
For info, we want to use the Teltonika RUT241 solely as an SMS Gateway and ensure it’s reachable from other PC in network. we have to register it with Gateway due to network policy.
I would greatly appreciate your help.

Based on your description, I assume you are referring to setting a static IP and gateway on the RUT241 WAN interface. This can be achieved as follows:

  1. Navigate to Network → WAN in the WebUI.
  2. Press Edit on the wan interface.
  3. Specify the desired static IP address and gateway in the appropriate fields:
