RUTXR1 trouble connecting 2 devices with same mac address

Had an issue when connecting two identical devices to the RUTXR1, and found out they had the same MAC address.

Tried solving the issue by setting up a VLAN as shown in the following guide:

Managed to create the VLAN, but the issue persisted.

Is it possible to connect two devices with identical MAC addresses? If so, how could it be done in the RUTXR1?
