RUTX50 - wrong default password or factory reset not working

HI,
I bought a rutx50 on amazon second hand. Arrived with all ports disabled (WIFI and LAN). Unable to connect. Factory reset performed, button pressed for more than 5 seconds, three LEDs on. No changes.
FW update done, wifi and LAN enabled.
the password stamped on the bottom of the router and the wifi SSIDs do not match. Unable to access router administration, incorrect username/password.
Factory reset performed again (over and over), button pressed for more than 5 seconds, three LEDs on. No changes.
Is it possible that the old owner modified/disabled the factory reset function? if so is there a workaround?

Hello,

If holding the reset button did not help, I recommend trying the bootloader procedure: RUTXxx Firmware via The Bootloader Menu - Teltonika Networks Wiki
If that does not help either, I recommend contacting Amazon, as the device you have purchased might be defective.

Best regards,

Thank you,
already returned to amazon, waiting for a new one.
But the question is, is it possible to disable factory reset button o modify standard procedure?

It is possible to disable it, but a factory reset would remove this behavior. Since the 3 LEDs lit up when holding the reset button, I doubt that the disabled button was the issue.

Best regards,
