RUTX50 Wi-Fi signal extender

Hello, i use RUTX50 in my sail boat and i am incredible happy. I can get all 4G signals , but when i am out of my boat, going 50 meters to the land side and want to use my wifi signal, RUTX50 original wifi antennas are not enough. I want to learn what is wifi output power of RUTX50, and what is your recommendation to extend my wifi coverage, to buy wifi range extender or buy new wifi antenna to solve this. Thank you so much for your help

Try one of these: https://de.rs-online.com/web/p/multi-band-antennen/1336537

If you happen to be in Berlin, I have one for €85

Hello,

I recommend checking out our accessories, where you will find the antennas: Teltonika Networks | Antenna options.
Additionally, you can use another router as a WiFi extender. For more information, please visit: RUTOS relay / Wi-Fi extender / repeater / bridge configuration - Teltonika Networks Wiki.

Best Regards,

2 brands that others use on here are Poynting and QuWireless. For me personally, I steer away from enclosures where the RUTX50 sits in the enclosure, with the antennas - I like to see the LED’s to quickly ascertain the state of the device.

Consider investing in a Wi-Fi range extender to amplify your RUTX50’s signal on land. Check the product documentation for Wi-Fi output power details. Assess your needs and compare options before making a decision.
