RUTX50 settings for dual sim

Hi,
I’m not an expert in this and just want the ultimate settings in regard ti redundancy. I don’t have a WAN connection only two mobile connections that opperate on different networks.

As I understand it it’s no point with fall back when using two sim cards, since it’s only one reciever for both? So the only thing I can use is sim switch? Or can I set the fallback from 5G to 4G?

Anyway I have activated sim swich but when I made a report I see that it was a down time of 5 minuties for the last 24 hours. It didn’t change sim card then. Any idea of what setting that I have done wrong?

Happy hollliday!

Hello

Regarding sim switch functionality meaning once the SIM1 got disconnected from the internet or get certain scenario, it will switch to SIM2 as a backup until the Primary SIM1 card goes back to normal by going to SIM Switch functionality

Regarding Set the fallback from 5G to 4G thats depends on your type of network scenario you want to sets on the SIM cards, you can set it manually or auto (Default) as per the screenshot below:

Please double-check the configurations on the SIM switch, such as the interval and the number of ping attempts before switching to the backup sim, for example, if the device is a state that meets at least one SIM switch condition, the device will perform a number of additional checks specified in this field and will perform a SIM switch only if the condition is met on every check.

Thanks
