RUTX50 server IPSec to a RUTX50 client

I am experiencing connectivity issues trying reach devices connected to a RUTX50 client via IPSec between a RUTX50 server and a RUTX50 client from my pc using vpn l2tp/ipsec

Details:

  • Communication from the server to the client works correctly.

  • However, when I try to access the client network from my PC, the connection fails.

Network Overview:

  • RUTX50 (1) Network → RUTX50 (2) Network: OK

  • RUTX50 (1) Network → RUTX50 (3) Network: OK

  • RUTX50 (1) Network → RUTX50 (4) Network: OK

  • Client → RUTX50 (1) Network: OK

Client → RUTX50 (2, 3, 4) Network: Not OK

Any ideas what i might be missing

Hello..

Please… check the RUTOS of your device.

Also… check for basic / advanced mode for old RUTOS release…

Don’t need to update your box… just change from basic to advanced and check for the option l2tp default route.

Cannot find where to change from basic to advanced.

Hi..

only old versions of firmware have at the top the basic/advanced option.

new versions, are always in advanced mode.

check the version of rutos running at your device.
