RuTX50 restore to factory settings every time it lose power

I recently installed a RUTX50 router in my van and had a problem from the very beginning.

Every time the router gets lose power, it restore to default factory settings.

I lose all my configuration and access password changes back to the default.

This is not the expected behavior right? Do I need to change something in the configuration? or there is a defect in my unit?

It shouldn’t reset after power loss.

Maybe something is near reset button?

Also what charger you use for router? Maybe it’s doesn’t enough power.

The behavior you described is indeed unusual.

Could you please provide more details on how the router is powered? Are you using the original PSU, passive PoE, or a different power source? Additionally, which RutOS firmware version is currently installed?

If you’re using an older firmware version, I highly recommend updating to the latest release –RUTX_R_00.07.12.3.

Hi Martynas,

The firmware update seems to have done the trick.
I was running RUTX_R_00.07.08.1, updated to latest version an looks like is no longer an issue.

I will check it the next time I power it down for a longer period of time.
