Hi, I have a rutx50 router that seams to be receiving messages that aren’t sent to it.
To be more precise, when I send one single sms message to the router, it keeps getting the same message for an infinity number of times.
I’m attaching some screenshots to better explain it.
I sent the original text message “Opet” yesterday at some point in the day, but I only sent it once, yet it shows up on the router as received multiple times.
I also have SMS forwarding to email enabled and you can see on the second screenshots how many text messages it has forwarded me even though only 1 was sent to it.
My ISP has a limit of 100 GB at full speed, after which it sends you an sms to which you have to reply a certain keyword to continue using data traffic at full speed. I set up the Auto Reply SMS feature and it was working fine until a couple of days ago. (I also set the auto reply limit to 4 messages so it doesn’t create a loop with the ISP messages).
The infinite amount of received sms messages started happening 2 days ago when a foreign number texted the router. It replied the previously set up keyword but kept “receiving” the message and also auto replying to it (for the set number of times, 4 messages).
I tried rebooting it several times, restoring my defaults, factory resetting, removing the SIM card, updating the firmware yet nothing seems to work.
I also tried uploading the troubleshoot file here but I can’t as I’m a new user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
