Only one sim is active. I had RUTX12 and changed it to RUTX50. Sami sim cards same configuration. Loadbalancer does not ‘balance’ becaus there is nothing to be balanced…
I check the sim slots in router, and there is lights on, which means (?) service provider side is ok. I updated firmware to latest one - RUTX_R_00.07.13.4. No help with that.
Failover / load balancing interfaces - says mob1s… online and mob2s offline.
Status / Network / Mobile ‘sees’ only sim1. Settings - in general - are in defaults LTE & 5G seems to be there.
What to do ? I can not think anything else, that wait for an update! I Must have this fixed soon.
One modem can be connected to one network using one SIM card.
The RUTX12 has two modems and each used its own SIM slot, the first modem the first SIM card, the second modem the second SIM card.
The RUTX50 has only one modem but two SIM slots which means that only one SIM slot can be active, either the first or the second SIM. Both cannot be at the same time.
For what you want you need the RUTM52 which has two modems like the RUTX12.
I ordered RUTM52, and antenna for it . It will arrive when it arrives in 2 weeks perhaps, then I will get loadbalanced 2 x 5g + option to add Starlink as a third one to be loadbalanced. It’s exactly same configuration what I had with RUTX12 - and that worked just fine, except no 5g
