RUTX50 not obtaining DNS or HTTPs out from PC

Hi!

I have RUTX50 and do not obtaining DNS or HTTPs out from PC (also checked windows fire wall so it should work). Connecting from the outside by RDP to the PC and other device work well (special rule for that).
I have put in the ISP DNS as well as 8.8.8.8.

I think this work before upgraded to firmware 12.0. But there is another possibility that I have might remove a default traffic rule by accident, is there some if I remove it that could cause this?
After looking in several posts it seems IPV6 seems to be a problem so I have turned that of too.

When I do this on the commandline on the PC:
C:\Users\XXX>ping google dot com
Ping request could not find host google.com. Please check the name and try again.

C:\Users\XXX>nslookup google dot com
Server: RUTX50.lan
Address: lan-router-ip

*** RUTX50.lan can’t find google dot com: Query refused

C:\Users\KallPN>

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Note had to write google dot com since the forum software thinks it is a link…

Probably not relevant nor helpful but how is the desktop connected to the router? Ethernet cable or WiFi?

What’s the result of the command ipconfig /all?

Have you tried (at the admin prompt) the commands: ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew

Does look as though outbound traffic is being blocked somewhere.

I have only Ethernet turned on. When I do ipconfig:
The gateway is the router-ip, the first dns in the list is router-ip, the second and third are ISP-dns-ip, the forth googles and fifth cloudflare.
I have also done release and renew and after that look on the ipconfig /all

I also did ipconfig /flushdns now and that did not help.

Does the desktop have a valid IP address itself?

I think you need to do a factory reset and manually reconfigure afterwards.

Have you updated both the device Firmware and the modems firmware to the latest versions?

Yes it has a valid adress, other service than https-out (from browser) and dns works.

I can not find the firmware for the modem, it is not listed under the manual. Any suggestion where to find it? I have not internet access it says on the router, so there is no contact with update servers either.

Updated to latest firmware today no improvement.
