I just purchased the RUTX50 to swap my current Mikrotik chateau but I have some issues in configuring it to let the firewall have the public ip from the RUTX50.
My current configuration with the Mikrotik is as it follows:
On one single ethernet port there are 2 Vlans: VLAN4 for WAN traffic and VLAN5 for MGMT traffic in order to manage the router with a static ip 172.18.0.1/30
My firewall is virtual on Vmware so I have two interfaces: WAN interface in dhcp mode that is listening for the public ip passed through the Mikrotik, WAN MGMT interface with static ip address 172.18.0.2/30.
I wish to do the same config on my new RUTX50 in order to reach the router to manage it and to have the pubblic ip passed through the wan interface of my firewall.
Can you help me figure this out?
