RUTX50 in Sweden or in Spain?

I have a RUTX50 with 07.07.1 and I have connected the sim 1 card to operator 24001 (Telia) but on the overview and in the Auto APN settings it says APN telephonica.es and the Teltonika speed test ”thinks” that I am in Barcelona (but my location are in Malmo Sweden). I wonder why that is happening … ? Otherwise it works fine. Best Regards

Hello,

This is quite puzzling. What is your mobile operator? Have you tried setting the APN to one provided by your operator?

It is a prepaid SIM card from wifi.se with roaming capabilities for Europe. In Sweden the card should function with Telia, Telenor and Tele 2. After I entered the Telia APN it worked better and was much faster but the Speed Test still thought i was in Spain. But after a reboot and change of test server it seems OK. But still a bit strange. Roaming cards are set up with multiple available APNs for certain providers. Sometimes, when checking, the APN might not lock onto the most appropriate one. Regarding the speed test showing Spain as your location, this is likely due to a leftover from the previously connected APN, which still has the “Spain” server address stored in its memory. Restarting the speed test service or rebooting the device should resolve this issue by finding a new server.
