RUTX50 failed to resolve host name

I will advise as soon as i return back to Greece, thank you for your follow up.

This is what I had when I bought the RUTX50 a year ago.
It turned out that the plastic SIM trays were loose and the inserted SIM card did not make good contact.

I struggled with it for almost a month until I figured it out.
I solved it by cutting a card to the size of the SIM tray and since then I have no more problems with this error.

Teltonika engineers should also pay attention to this when designing the future 5G router.

Oh wow - thanks for this very detailed update!
So do I understand correctly - all issues solved now by adding this manual-cut card to thee SOM tray?

If so - then Teltonika should really consider that there might be thinner plastic SIM’s out there which causing these hard to troubleshoot issues…

In my case, this helped, the SIM card not inserted message never appeared again.

Before this, I got random messages that the SIM card was not inserted, the worst for me is when it happens at night (probably when it’s cold and hot during the day, so the plastic stretches/squeezes).

It is a bit awkward to insert the SIM tray with this cardboard accessory, you have to be careful.

oh my word, had the exact same thoughts and issues! haven’t finished reading all this yet but so useful to see this. hope i can get it to work, too
