I’m facing a significant drop of the bandwidth after a router uptime of 2 days and more.
The usual bandwidth (down: 120-220 Mbps, up: 45-70 Mbps) drops to something around 9 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up…
Since I was currently in a online meeting, I tried to restart the connection in the mobile status page but nothing changed. Therefore I rebooted the router and the bandwidth was back - anyway I really enjoyed that meeting break!
I’m pretty sure that this is not provider related. I’ve had my mobile (same provider) connected to a second laptop which ran a speedtest every 3 minutes (showed no drops).
Is this a known issue? I wasn’t able to find any information here… I’d be happy to debug this but I’m not sure where to start.
I’m running RUTX_R_00.07.07.3, my temporary workaround would be a cronjob to reboot the router every morning.
