RUTX50 and UDM-SE / internet4 / passthrough or bridge not working

Hello,

When using NAT mode, everything works fine and I can see my public IP in the RUT GUI. However, when switching to passthrough or bridge mode, my public IP should appear on my UDM’s WAN interface, but instead, my backup line takes over. The modem freezes and there is no more traffic.

My config today:

On mob1s1a1:

  • protocol: Mobile
  • PDP type: ipv4
  • Auto APN off
  • APN: internet4
  • Mode: PASSTHROUGH

When in Passthrough mode, my UDM is using the backup line. And the leds (4G and 5G) do not blink anymore.

This problem appear regularly.

Any ideas ?

Could you please clarify what firmware version is currently on the device?

Could you please try the troubleshooting steps listed here: Mobile Bridge mode troubleshooting - Teltonika Networks Wiki, it would be great if you could test out if the IP gets passed to a computer connected to the RUTX50

I will do my best, but the WAN interface never worked. I have had to use the LAN as WAN …

Using BRIDGE mode and adding the MAC add of my WAN1 make it working.

Sorry, I need to reopen this post, the modem is now rebooting by itself ….

I have disabled the automatic reboot config, waiting to see what happen.

I do have regular “forbidden 403” on my web site …. Never happened before when using passthrough instead of Bridge.

The speedtest doesn’t work. I have a: Cannot retrieve server list.
