Notice
Firmware update to RUTX_R_00.07.10.2 is now available

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you kindly confirm the following details to help us better understand the issue?

  1. Do you have any specific configurations applied to the router, such as Auto Reboot settings or scheduled tasks?
  2. Did this issue begin only after upgrading to the latest firmware (RUTX_R_00.07.10.2), or was it present in previous firmware versions as well?
  3. Have you attempted performing a factory reset ?
    Did it help?

Best regards,

Thanks for the reply.

  1. I have an auto-reboot setup but its only weekly and you can see from the logs that its an ‘unexpected shutdown’ and its happening several times per day.
  2. Yes only after updating, however I had also just reset the router to factory settings and put it in a new configuration.
  3. is there anything else to try before a factory reset as I cannot get to site that easily. I was thinking perhaps I can roll back the firmware update? I was thinking maybe there’s a bug as its quite a newly released version.

Hello,

This behavior is indeed unusual, and I haven’t observed anything similar with the RUTX50 running firmware version 07.10.2. You can certainly try downgrading the firmware to 07.10 without the “Keep Settings” option enabled. This will erase all configurations and install only the firmware.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Best Regards,
