Hi community,
I am using HTTP post/get strings to send SMS (sms_send) from my server. After updating the firmware and internal modem today, this is not working anymore. When I use a web browser to test the feature, I am being redirected to the login page of the router. This was not happening before the update.
Firmware update: RUTX_R_00.07.08.2 to RUTX_R_00.07.12.3
Internal modem update: unknown to EG12EAPAR01A15M4G_01.202.01.202
From firmware version 7.12, the Mobile POST/GET and I/O POST/GET functionality was moved to the package manager. To use it now, please follow these steps:
Go to System → Package Manager in WebUI and download the Mobile POST/GET package.
Once the package is downloaded, navigate to Services → Mobile Utilities → SMS Gateway → POST/GET and configure the settings accordingly.
After completing the configuration, you should be able to use the Mobile POST/GET function. I have tested this with firmware version 7.12.3, and everything works as expected.
Hi Marija,
Thank you so much for this information, that makes it clear. That said, there seems to be a problem downloading the package.
When I go the the package manager, it seems the package manager already tried to download the Mobile POST/GET package. I am able to choose ‘remove’ and ‘retry’.
When I retry to download the package, I get the popup ‘Package retry action started successfully’, but it still fails after that ((error: invalid package). I also noticed the package is not available on the repository or the package download page (https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX14_Package_Downloads).
After trying to retry the package download, I updated to the lastest firmware (RUTX_R_00.07.13)
I tried to remove the package, but don’t know how to re-install it after since it is not in the list anymore and I cannot find it online.
I tried to go back to factory default settings and download the package, but still I get the same error.
