The RUTX12 was used as an example, where it is clearly indicated where the 4 incoming LTE wires should be connected, but the RUTX14 only shows Main and three aux. Is it the intention that the incoming antenna wires are connected the same as on the RUTX12?
The RUTX12 device is equipped with two mobile connection modules that allow it to accommodate two working SIM cards simultaneously. This is why it has two main mobile antennas, dedicated to one modem module each, with “SIM1” and “SIM2” engraved on its back. As a result, each module has two antennas.

In contrast, the RUTX14 device only has one mobile module and can support a single SIM card at a time. Although it has two SIM slots, only one SIM can be active at any given moment, while the second SIM card is used only for failover (sim switch) purposes for redundancy**.** Therefore, all antennas will work for the active SIM card.

Also, the RUTX14 model features LTE CAT12 technology, which supports download speeds of up to 600 Mbps and upload speeds of 150 Mbps. However, achieving these theoretical speeds requires more antennas, in this case four. In contrast, the RUTX12 model has two LTE CAT6 technologies, each capable of supporting download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of 50 Mbps. Therefore, it only requires two antennas for each module.

Thanks for your reply Gytis. I have a Poynting antenna 3-17 which comes with 4 antenna cables labeled: 1 cell1 main cable, 1 cell1 aux/div cable, 1 cell2 main cabel and 1 cell2 aux/div
cable. I was thinking that i had to connect cell1 main to the ‘main’ port of the RUTX14. Is this correct or doesnt it really matter which cable is connected to whatever Mobile port of the RUTX14 because it uses all cables anyway in any given order?
As example a picture of the labeling of the LTE (Mobile) cables (not mine but as example)
Apologies for the delayed response. Please ensure that the main cable (cell 1 main) is connected to the main antenna slot. Other connections won’t affect performance as there is only one mobile module.
