Description: There is an issue with failover functionality on the Teltonika RutX14 when using two wired WAN connections. If the primary WAN connection is lost, the router successfully switches to the backup WAN but fails to revert to the main WAN once it becomes available again. Additionally, if both wired WAN connections are unavailable, the router does not switch to the mobile network, resulting in a loss of internet connectivity. The only way to restore functionality is by rebooting the router.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Configure WAN1 on the eth1 physical interface.
- Configure WAN2 on the br-lan physical interface.
- Set up failover priority as WAN1 → WAN2 → mob2s1a1 → mob1s2a1.
- Disconnect the cable from eth1 (WAN1); the router switches to WAN2 as expected.
- Reconnect the cable to eth1 (WAN1); the router does not switch back to WAN1.
- Disconnect the cable from br-lan (WAN2).
- The router fails to switch back to WAN1 or to the mobile network mob2s1a1.
Expected Behavior:
- The router should switch back to WAN1 when it becomes available.
- If both WAN1 and WAN2 are disconnected, the router should switch to the mobile network mob2s1a1.
Environment:
- Firmware version: RUTX_R_00.07.10
- Firmware build date: 2024-10-08 13:27:53
- Internal modem firmware version: EG12EAPAR01A15M4G_01.202.01.202
- Kernel version: 5.10.224
