Thanks for the advice regarding rebind protection. I will turn it off to see if it helps. But before 07.07 firmware it all worked w/o any additional configurations. You say that there are no evidence of reboots, but they do clearly exist. Even in that troubleshoot file of 2024-08-01 they should exist. Check the logs screenshot. Line 25 is a reboot after upgrade to 07.08 + reconfig from scratch, or just one of the manual reboots soon after that. Ok, line 26 is probably not a clear random reboot. That was probably the case when I’ve lost wifi permanently and thus decided to plug out/plug in the power of the router, since it wasn’t restoring wifi connection. But lines 27 and 28 are for sure unexpected reboots! And they happened before 01.08.2024, so should be present in the 2024-08-01 troubleshoot file. Here is how I physically observer them each time. At first I loose wifi connection. I specifically check at that point that I loose wifi on all devices, not just current one I’m using at that moment, so laptop, phones, all that looses wifi, which clearly means it’s a router issue. Then if I physically go and look at the router, I see that it clearly reboots. It’s performing that “led blinking series” which happens exactly during the reboot, so it’s obvious for me that it reboots, by seeing no wifi, by seeing leds blinking, be seeing logs. So troubleshoot must contain evidence of that I hope. At least I even see it in logs in the Web UI, each line above 26 is clear unexpected reboot. 2024-08-1 contains 2 or 3 of them at least, but I will send you new troubleshoot file, which contains logs for all of the lines above 25. Also, in addition to turning off rebind protection, do you suggest me to switch to the newly released 07.08.01, or just keep experimenting with 07.08 ?
Hello Dshoot,
Yes I understand that the device shutdowns unexpectedly, what I have meant is that the shutdown is not seen in the provided troubleshoot file as the logs start from July 31 14:00
to August 1 06:35
Whereas by the screenshot you provided it shows unexpected shutdown occured on 2024-07-31 11:01 and 2024-08-01, which is not captured in the logread.
What is more I would like you to set up SMS trigger with BAT120, to make sure that the power supply is not the issue in this case, as it still might be a factor in this case, here you can find the guide on how to set it up: SMS and Email alerts Triggered by BAT120 - Teltonika Networks Wiki
I will kindly wait for your reply as I want to resolve the issue as much as you do,

Regarding the power supply. Believe me, it’s not an issue. At least the chances are very very low. The device was (and still is) powered by Ecoflow power station in bypass mode. So the power is super stable. When the issue started to occur (right at the day of switching to 07.07), I additionally added bat-120. So now it’s Ecoflow + bat-120. So the power now is not just super stable, it’s super-duper stable. I can return from super-duper to just super, to eliminate bat-120 if you want, but it’s clearly not a power issue. I’ll also try to setup that sms stuff, but I doubt it’s a power.
Sorry for late reply. I recently configured email notification in case of power cuts. I tested that emails work by just pulling out the plug. Then I still got 1 unexpected reboot after that and no power cut email, which means that power is good. I sent you troubleshoot file which was generated in 1h 10 min after the reboot. Before I configured email notification I got lots of those reboots as well.
Hey Dshoot,
Maybe you should contact your reseller or Sales manager to initiate an RMA or is the warranty expired already? As it seems like unusual logs by my eyes. RMA - Teltonika Networks Wiki

I will check the warranty. But it’s very weird that issues started to appear on 2 of my routers with 07.07 firmware, each bought in different time. What if I rollback to firmware that was prior to 07.07? Or change to 07.09? Currently I’m on 07.08. How is it possible that I have the same issue on 2 routers? And what exactly do you see in logs?
Sorry,
I don’t see any logs, just I mean that this behaviour seems odd and seems caused by maybe hardware.

Hi.
Before I started trying to rollback to old firmware, checking warranty and all that stuff,
I just sent you last fresh troubleshoot file. It was generated right after sporadic reboot, when wi-fi connection was established again with router. No power cut emails as usual, so power is good.
So. I switched back to 00.07.06.10 a month ago and had no issues with it so far. No random reboots, no frozen wi-fi or anything like that. Neither in logs not physically. For me it’s clear that it is a 100% firmware issue. None of official firmwares starting from 07.07.00 work stable for me. So me personally don’t recommend switching to something newer than 07.06.10, at least if you have RUTX12 which was produces couple of years ago. No fixes will be provided and your router will just become unstable. At least there is always an option to rollback to old firmware.
7.10 FW also fails? Did you update FW without keep settings?
