RUTX12 - RUTX_R_00.07.07.1 - FOTA settings

Hi there,

I just did an upgrade of the firmware to the latest RUTX_R_00.07.07.1 on my RUTX12.

The one significant issue I’m experiencing already is that I can’t enable FOTA anymore. It’s disabled by default. When I try to enable it, it shows an error message: “Failed to edit configuration”. Any advise how to fix this?

From which firmware did you upgrade? Did you keep settings when upgrading? FOTA config might be corrupted, you can try to reset it by using SSH and copying the default config with command:

cp /rom/etc/config/rut_fota /etc/config/rut_fota

This was actually the issue and copying the default resolved the issue. I did upgrade from RUTX_R_00.07.06.3. Many thanks for the support!
