Rutx12 door opening

hi I came across this rutx12 and I can’t open the doors to the outside. Can anyone kindly forward me a procedure??? trying the default ports like http (80) it opens but not externally. Thanks

Hi,

It seems you’d like to make Port 80 accessible for remote connections. To achieve this, follow these steps:

• Navigate to System → Administration → Access Control.
• Enable the “Enable remote HTTP access” option.

By doing this, Port 80 will now be accessible externally.

Hi, thanks for replying to me. Let me explain better, I should open a UDP 8291 port on the Teltonika rutx12 router. Can you help me??
even opening those of default 80 for example from the outside I can’t reach. thanks

Here is a quick tutorial on how to open port 8291 on your router for WAN access:

1. Navigate to Network → Firewall → Traffic Rules.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and configure the rule as shown below.
   

   

3. In the next pop-up menu, enable the rule and save it.
   

   

By following these steps, you will create a new rule for opening the specified port.

I believe the instructions I provided should be effective. Can you check if you can connect to other ports through the Wide Area Network (WAN), like PORT 80? Remember to open it in System → Administration → Access Control.

Hi Marijus, thanks for your suggestions but I think it’s a problem at this point with the inserted SIM. I was reading on the internet that the SIM seems to me to be the only one with the ability to open the doors. I inserted a Vodafone SIM and nothing even opening the doors of the rutx12 which by default do not work. I gave up. Thanks anyway for your availability
