I have an apparently bricked RUTX12. I read your post in which you describe that your unit became responsive after some time. So far I have not been able to get into mine, but I hadn’t thought to leave it.
One thing though is my unit’s LEDs did not flash according to the guidance. The only LEDs that light are on the active LAN port. can you recall whether all your unit’s LEDs lit?
Anyway I’m gonna try leaving it on for an hour or so to see whether this makes a difference.
Oh man, that’s a LOT of sleeps ago. I was getting quite frustrated. I remember that, and the ping wasn’t deliberate; it was a window I’d forgotten about. I rarely read manuals, and I can’t tell you exactly what the light sequence was. I just remember a fair bit of flashing and the pings stopping, then coming back after tea and finding the unit pinging.
