I am not able to access the web interface via 192.168.1.1 for my RUTX12, it brings me to the page to login but none of the passwords i enter seem to work. I’ve tried the admin01 as well as both password on the sticker on the bottom of the device and are working, even after a hard reset.
It’s possible that your IP address may be blocked due to multiple incorrect password attempts. I recommend trying the following steps:
Set a Static IP Address: Please set a static IP address on your computer’s network interface (e.g., IP: 192.168.1.10, Gateway: 192.168.1.1). You can find detailed instructions here: Setting up a Static IP on Windows 10.
Reset the Router: If you haven’t done so already, please try resetting the router to its default settings.
Scan for Wi-Fi Networks: Check for the router’s Wi-Fi SSID in your wireless networks. If it’s visible, try connecting to it and then access the router’s WebUI.
Reinstall Firmware: If the issue persists, you may need to reinstall the router’s firmware through the bootloader menu. Instructions for this process can be found in the following article: Bootloader Menu Instructions.
