RUTX11 - No WAN DHCP from ISP Modem in Bridge mode

Hi
I am getting an orange ‘Obtaining IP’ message on the WAN port of my RUTx11.

I have the RUTX11 WAN port (DHCP) connected to a TP-Link VR-1800v modem in bridge mode. I expect the RUT to pick up the dynamic IP from the ISP as the ISP requires dynamic settings. The RUT fails to get any IP from the ISP.
Teltonika firmware RUTX_R_00.07.16.1

An identical RUTX11 configuration with a VR2100 works perfectly at another site.
Teltonika Firmware RUTX_R_00.07.15.2

An identical RUTx11 configuration with another VR-1800v also works fine at a different site
Teltonika Firmware RUTX_R_00.07.11.2

If I connect my laptop to the VR-1800v, it picks up the ISP IP address and I can access the internet.

I have ended up setting up the 1800v as a modem/router and then I DMZ to the RUTx11. This works, but it’s not perfect and I risk double NAT.

Thanks in advance for any help here!
Firmware? Hell no! Surely

Muchos appreciated!

Cheers
Clive

Thank you for responding.
It is heartening to see active technical support on this forum.
I will respond to your ticket.

FYI and others…I have ‘downgraded’ the firmware to Teltonika Firmware RUTX_R_00.07.15.2. Now everything works as expected.

The fixes/changes in release 16 of the firmware is a very long list.

Hopefully this helps anyone else when encountering a similar issue.
