RUTX11 for repair?

Hi,
I have an RUTX11, purchased in Germany (Jacob Elektronik) in August 2020. At the moment only the little LED under the PWR Button lights up when fed with the PSU or +24VDC passive PoE on LAN1 and nothing else happens.

When I connect via any LAN port I get link but no IP address (only link local). The factory reset has not been changed and after 12+ s with the reset button there is no reboot etc.
I suspect a boot error etc. or another defect.

Is there any place where I can send this for inspection and get a quote for repair?
I could not find any support contact on the Teltonika Website.

Best,
Tobias

You want to try Boootloader recovery first:

RUTX11 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki

Bootloader recovery brought the device back to life, thanks for the reminder.

BUT: the device has a history of these errors:
11/2022 - no DHCP server active. In Bootloader-Mode Firmware flashed, then ok.
3/2023 - Device was on Factory default, not clear why. Reconfigured.
10/2024 - Device was not reachable, no DHCP active, no LEDs except PWR. ok after Bootloader-Mode flashing FW.

So I think something needs to be repaired / swapped here.
How does this work with Teltonika? Thanks.

The so-called “log.db” does always survive.

To delete logs:

  1. SSH into your router.
  2. Navigate to the log folder using the command: cd /log/
  3. Run the command: rm log.db
  4. Restart the events log service with the command: /etc/init.d/eventslog restart or reboot the router

Thanks.
cd / (to go to root directory instead of user folder)
ls > shows /log/
cd /log
cat log.db:

ETWORK;
J;‘ggYSwitch EventsnoticePort speed for port WAN changed to 1000 baseTF:’_gYSwitch EventsnoticePort link state of port WAN changed to UPO9’qgYSwitch EventsnoticePort speed for port CPU/WiFi changed to 1000 baseTK8’igYSwitch EventsnoticePort link state of port CPU/WiFi changed to UProot@hostname:/log#

So unfortunately to me it does not look like something harmful but I deleted log.db nevertheless.
