We have a RUTX11 (batch 063) that was recently updated to the lastest firmware, then had a factory reset applied, but since the reset the default credentials on the sticker are not accepted.
I’ve confirmed the creditials we are trying are correct by comparing to the details contained in the QR code.
We’ve also tried rolling back firmware versions via the bootloader method, but this still has not allowed the default credentials to be accepted.
SSH access using root or admin as the user and the default password also fails.
Currently this RUT is now a brick unless we can find a way to regain access…
Greetings,
Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue!
If you have already followed the factory reset guide on our RUTX11 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki and the default password is still not accepted, this points to a hardware issue. In this case, you will need to proceed with an RMA for a warranty repair. Here you can find more information about the RMA procedure: RMA - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Here is how to initiate the process:
-
Purchased through a vendor or reseller: Please contact them directly to begin the warranty process.
-
Purchased directly from us: Please submit a request via HelpDesk or contact your assigned Sales Manager.
I recommend mentioning the serial number in the first message when you contact the vendor or us, so it saves you some time.
Best Regards,
Martyna
