RUTX11 - Cannot access local network from android

Hi, I’ve recently setup an RUTX11, just following the wizard, no other configuration. I find that I cannot ping or otherwise access any of my other devices on the network from my android phone. I can however ping my phone from e.g. my laptop. If I setup my laptop as a hotspot, and connect my phone, I can ping my laptop.

I can’t see any options in the RUTX11 that might cause this - device isolation is off, the wifi is in the lan zone, and everything seems ok to me.

Any ideas?

sigh I finally found a rogue firewall rule that was dropping incoming packets. Apparently my distro has both iptables and nftables installed, with the latter managed by firewalld. The problematic rule was in firewalld.
