Hi
I have two ruoter as above which have been setup with zerotier to link them
the network range is xx./22 to cover both ends
the zerotier parts work and i have access to the webUIs of both routers and all devices at both ends
speedtest also works on both routers as we have a web based link between them.
what i need is that when the zerotier link is down or up that devices at both ends can continue to send data via the www.
This does mean that I have more that one active router in this network – most devices here have static Ips, the zerotier link is only intended for limited service/maintance use ( updateds / SW problems)
Rutx11 is at xx.xx.0.2 and RUT240 is at xx.xx.2.1 range is xx.xx.0.0 to xx.xx.3.255
devices are grouped in same network range but all devices in first router at bottom of this range and on second router in the middle of the range used.
I have been through both routers comparing settings and can find nothing different that I can change while some menu options are also missing on the RUT240.
the issue is:
on the RUTX11 DHCP only partly works! ( Firmware is latest here xx.10 )
when On - it assigns a IP correctly but I cannot access the www.
If I set the PCs Ip manually and also set the router address on the PC then it works
Because of the range used for some reason - it also only works with the lower 255 ips not all 1024 Ips in the range.
firmware is lastest here 7.xxxx.16
At the RUT240 end I have been unable to get the router to work outside of the zerotier link in any way., but speed test still works. so access from the WEB UI appears fine but access for any connected devices is only via zerotier to the other router. These devices also need independant access to the www
when connecting to the www. via sim card I am unable to access any web sites from this router I ca still access the WEBUI for the router.
does anybody have any ideas as to I have done wrong?

PS I have tried doing manufacture resets to get rut240 to work directly with devices and the web but that did not work either. ( it has worked in the past but not with zerotier and the latest firmware)
