A few years back when i still worked as an it architect i needed to update the restart script as it otherwise the wifi did not work . So i got a small example and had do insert a wait script running for 5 minutes. This has been working excelent .
But now I just want to know if this script is still needed or and if U just can upgrade the os because it is very back level and still have this script running with no intervention other than upgrading the os?

Can you advise what firmware is installed in the device? I would recommend installing the newest firmware upgrade (without the keep settings option) , as the newest firmware does not have any Wifi issues.
Please advise us if the issues are still there after the firmware upgrade to RUTX_R_00.07.15.1_WEBUI

As your firmware version is very old, we would suggest upgrading without keeping the settings of the device, as it may cause some issues.
The way you want to do approach this, is you head to the Firmware Download page, found here: RUTX11 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Either download the Latest FW or the Mass Production FW (choice is yours):
Then head to the WebUI of the device, under System → Firmware → Update firmware select Update from: File:
Make sure your selections are identical to the screenshot.
After upgrading the firmware version, let us know if the issue persists.
Note: Since you’re not keeping the settings, the password of the device will be reset to the default that is located on the back of the device.
