I reconfigured my router to behave more like a switch: connected to my modem via other unamanged switch that is connected via LAN port on my RUTX110 and set DHCP Server as Relay to the modem. All the devices in that joined network belong to 192.168.1.* now and see each other. Unfortunately firmware update does not work, because it apparently do not take into account DHCP settings and IP of the internet gate.
