RUTX09 stops working/responding

Hello to all! I have a router RUTX09. After a power loss, router stops working and responding neither to ping nor as a web-interface.

I have already tried:

  1. Reboot.
  2. Factory Reset.
  3. Bootloader menu process

Nothing happened, nothing changed! Not even the LED started blinking. The only LED that are ON, are the Power LED and the LED of the occupied Ethernet port.

Any ideas, please?

Are you certain that your computer doesn’t have a static IP set on it? Could you please follow this guide, but instead of choosing to use a static IP, you end up picking Obtain IP Address Automatically?

I have tried both with static and Automatic IP. Nothing works.

Well, if factory resetting/bootloader menu resetting didn’t work, then my only suggestion that I have left would be to try a different computer and/or cable and see if that helps.

If that still doesn’t help, I suspect there must be something wrong with the device itself then, and unfortunately, we don’t have any other options besides the ones you’ve already tried, so you would have to look into getting an RMA.
